UPSET Padel runs a doubles padel league in Bangor. This page explains what we collect when you sign up, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
UPSET Padel, a league run by Jake Ashworth in Bangor. Contact us about anything on this page at hello@upsetpadel.com.
What we collect
- Your team name.
- For both players: full name, email address, mobile number.
- Your Playtomic level, if you choose to give it. We don't check it, and we never ask for your Playtomic login.
- League results and match records once the season starts.
Why we use it
- To run the league: place your team, make fixtures, record results and publish the league table.
- To contact you about your matches and the league.
- To share your name and mobile number with the teams you're drawn against, so you can arrange your matches. You agree to this when you sign up.
Team names and results appear in the league table, which we share with the league (for example in a WhatsApp group). We never sell your details or use them for advertising.
Where it's kept
Your details are stored securely with our database provider, Supabase, and only the league organisers can see them. The website is hosted by Vercel.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you're playing in the league and for 12 months after your last season, so we can bring you back for the next one. After that, we delete them. League tables and results may be kept as a record of past seasons.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can leave the league at any time. Email hello@upsetpadel.com and we'll sort it within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
